Scott Kendrick, born in 1969, is part of an exciting new generation of New Zealand poets that have emerged since the mid-1990s. After leaving school in Otaki he travelled for 4 years, before settling in Wellington where he has worked as a builder for the past 5 years. His poems have been published widely in magazines and anthologies, and he is also the editor of The Babylon Express, a new satirical and political newspaper based in Wellington.
